Mike and Janet's Photo Album

This album was made using a Paper Phenomenon video.  It is the Backpack done Sept. 2011.  This is one of my favorite albums.  I will post other versions of this pattern later.  I made this one for my brother and his wife.  I am thrilled with how it came out.

I hope to learn how to do videos soon.  It was really hard to show all of this album in stills.
I used Kathy's tag and a half for the tag that goes in the paper bag.  I used DCWV Mariposa paper stack.  I bound it using black canvas that I hot glued to the front and back covers and then covered with lace.  I made my hinges 3/8 " to allow a little more room and stamped them with a butterfly.  Each right hand flap has a decorated envelop in the pocket for mementoes or journaling. 

Wendy's Photo Album

Here is my first paper bag album using one of Kathy's - Paper Phenomenon methods.  It is a little chunky! OK, it is a lot chunky. :)  I made a closure for it so that it won't be popping open. :)  Since I was using a premade cover I didn't have the option of making it accommodate the pages.  Although I am not a fan of it's fatness, it is a beautiful album.  And newer albums do not do this.
